first time for everything

this is probably the FIRST tattoo i have ever looked at and then thought, "wow i would totally get that" now of course we all know i would never get one, but it got me thinking. so what would you get if you were to get a tattoo?

Lee’s hand shook as he filled the delicate cups. He drank his down in one gulp. “Don’t you see?” he cried. “The American Standard translation orders men to triumph over sin, and you can call sin ignorance. The King James translation makes a promise in ‘Thou shalt,’ meaning that men will surely triumph over sin. But the Hebrew word, the word timshel—’Thou mayest’— that gives a choice. It might be the most important word in the world. That says the way is open. That throws it right back on a man. For if ‘Thou mayest’—it is also true that ‘Thou mayest not.’ Don’t you see?”

just the facts

FACT:

i took a CPR/first aid class today

FACT:

i seem to laugh a lot when it is really inappropriate to do so

FACT:

our instructor told us a story of a drunk girl breaking her leg and her drunk friends took her to the hospital with her leg submerged in an ice-chest, turns out she got frost bite and had to amputate that leg.

FACT:

i laughed out loud, . . really loud. nobody else did.

the absolute best.

alright *spoiler alert* this is going to get sappy

i would just like to say that i have the best parents in the world. Particularly my Dad. just this weekend i picked up a car that he was fixing for me and he went completely above and beyond. He fixed EVERYTHING. tires, the seats, the engine (seals, hoses, took it basically apart and put it back together) he even cleaned and washed it, and made an appointment for it to be re-painted. How do i live up to that? How do i fill those shoes? i have no skill whatsoever for helping him or my own family out like that. so basically this is just to let all of you know that i have an amazing father who drops everything to help me whenever i need it. i don't deserve that i know, but hopefully ill be able to pay him back sometime in someway.

LOVE you dad!!
